Hey, Jamie, would you mind driving down this road a while, Arizona's waiting on these eyes. Rich is on the radio, and I think we ought to take it slow, Arizona's caught me by surprise.

Hey, Jamie, have you heard a picture paints a thousand words but the photographs don't tell it all. I see the eagle swim the canyon sea, Creation yawns in front of me. Oh Lord, I never felt so small

And I don't believe that I believed in You as deeply as today. I reckon what I'm saying is there's nothing more, nothing more to say

And the mountains sing Your glory hallelujah, the canyons echo sweet amazing grace. My spirit sails the mighty gales are bellowing
Your name, and I've got nothing to say. No, I've got nothing to say

Hey, Jamie, do you see I'm broken by this majesty. So much glory in so little time. So turn off the radio let's listen to the songs we know all praise to Him who reigns on high

Glory, glory hallelujah. Glory, glory hallelujah. Glory, glory hallelujah, hallelujah

And the mountains sing Your glory hallelujah, the canyons echo sweet amazing grace. My spirit sails the mighty gales are bellowing
Your name, and I've got nothing to say. No, I've got nothing to say

Hey, Jamie, would you mind driving down this road a while Arizona's caught me by surprise.

(Andrew Peterson “Nothing to Say”)

Okay, so I have only been to Arizona to drive through it and I have to admit, not a fan, but maybe if I actually saw the Grand Canyon I would feel differently... No, the reason I am posting this song is because I love it. I love the idea of being awed by God, awed to the point of stillness. Of seeing God and being willing to forfeit all that hinders you from experiencing Him fully. Can’t we just turn off the radio and let the radiance of who He is speak for itself?

It’s amazing.

Let creation worship You, let all things shout Your name. Be still and know that He is God, in whom your can find refuge and eternal rest. He is who we work for, it’s His approval we should seek – let everything else fade – titles, attraction, edification from man, and leave only You in your amazing goodness and love that silences storms and calls me back to himself.

Be still my heart and know HE IS GOD.

Be still my soul and know He is good.

...selah...
