This post is dedicated to my mommy:

To the woman who is always there. To the one who always have a moment for me to vent or cry. To the person who can make me feel better over the phone.

You’ve always been there, and I know you always will be.

You’re a warrior. You’re a fighter. You give of yourself so selflessly. You love others.

The passion you bring to every aspect of your life is amazing.

I am amazed when I watch you interact with your grandkids; you love them unconditionally and sacrifice your needs for them. You love us girls with reckless abandon. I love the way you interact with my father: you laugh at the small things, appreciate the small gestures, and extend small gestures of appreciation in return. You love him as one is suppose to. You serve, and allow yourself to be served...37 year later you’re very obviously still in love. That’s incredible!

Your love is an example to me. I hope to be half as lucky some day.

Don’t be too hard on yourself; you have more in you than you know. You are a role model to any who meet you, a strength to those who are tried. You always have a little extra to give. You fight the good fight, and above all live a life full of Christ.

Your laugh makes me smile.

Thank you.

Thank you for listening to my ramblings. Thank you for the hundreds of small things you do every day without realizing them, that make my day better.

You’re a great mother...

...A loving wife...

...A good leader

You’re appreciated, loved, cared for, and respected…

To my mommy: one of a kind...
