Well I just got done watching the movie Holes - a wonderful movie I'd recommend to anyone...

The basic premise is the boy, Stanley, a young boy sent to a "camp" for kids after he is wrongly accused of taking a pair of shoes. The boys are forced to dig holes all day to help build character, but there is more to the story than that. Stanley and his family are under a curse put on their great great grandfather by a fortune teller. This curse has followed them ever since. Another aspect of the movie is the town that once existed where the camp now stands.

This is a great movie - it has a lot of great actors, Sigourney Weaver, Shia LaBeouf, Jon Voight and Dule Hill. The writing is great, the story is creative, and the characters enduring. I have to be honest and admit I didn't want to see this movie, but I can see it quickly becoming one of my favorites :)
